Bad Scratch Wiki was a Miraheze reception wiki founded by Wpetoi on June 14, 2020. It and Crummy Scratchers Wiki were notorious for creating drama before the Miraheze staff deleted it on July 24, 2020. It was succeeded by Stupid Scratchers Wiki.
Why It Got Deleted
- Both it and Crummy Scratchers Wiki caused drama due to the fact that they are both Scratch reception wikis that caused their editors to be banned from Scratch for "gossip."
- The wiki forced its editors to wait longer if they ever want to be unblocked.
- There are often poor reasons as to why the Scratcher is bad. If a page on a Scratcher has good reasons why they're bad, the reasons aren't well written. One of the reasons on ROFLwolf06's page is "using more than 70 accounts to push their agenda."
- They used to have a page on Griffpatch, the most-followed Scratcher on Scratch. One of the page's reasons as to why Griffpatch was "bad" was because he ported games to Scratch.
- No infoboxes on Scratcher pages, making them look plain due to them having no images.
- Wpetoi, the founder, isn't a good person. He advertised Bad Scratch Wiki on unrelated Scratch subreddits and tried to place said wiki at number one.
- The wiki has no ManageWiki nor is it customized. This resulted in it having the default colors typical of a new Miraheze wiki that has been recently founded.
- Wpetoi switched the wiki's purpose to "satire" just so he could be excused from the wiki getting deleted.
The Only Good Qualities
- It warned Scratchers to not use their Scratch usernames to avoid getting banned by the Scratch Team due to what happened with the Crummy Scratchers Wiki editors.
- The Griffpatch page did get deleted, thankfully.
